Thank you to everyone who responded to the poll questions. The conclusion would appear to be that the story codes are much more important than I ever realized, and warrants a discussion on coding.
You are coding your own stories, right? Good, because that really helps Gromet.
In my opinion, a well coded story does not include lots of codes. It means using just the codes necessary to give the reader a sense of what they can expect just like a good television commercial communicates the appeal of the product in 30 seconds.
Obviously, the longer and more complex the story the more codes will be required to accomplish this.
So, what do you think? I would like to see comments from writers, and especially from readers on your thoughts.
