The pictures may not be what you expected to see, but this is an exercise in creativity as much as a contest. Imagining story ideas in everyday images is great mental exercise as we are all bombarded by images every day.

I hope to see all the members who don’t consider themselves writers participate, have some fun and play around with an idea. Who knows, it could be the first step to penning your own story. I would also like to see our plaza authors who haven’t had time to participate in the story contests join in here.

I’m excited to see what happens, this could become more popular than the story contests.

A note about the rules. I had to provide rules at the beginning of the contest, and they were made assuming a best case outcome of receiving 15 to 20 captions per picture. Since we didn’t get anywhere close to that, I am dispensing with the prejudging and putting all entries to a public poll.
