I thought this day if you say 'eBook' you mean EPUB/MOBI/FB2 or at least PDF but not some ancient format for which you have to get special tools to just open.

I was unaware that modern apps/software with their "infinite capability" compared to software of old were unable to properly translate old formats.  I thought going with a slightly older format would cover more of the bases, but apparently I was wrong....  I am still fresh to eBooks formatting, so I am learning. 

The story was written in Wordperfect; can you tell?    I imagine the inconsistent chapter formatting probably came from your software's conversion algorithms or the like; even I noticed last week Wordperfect doesn't necessarily backwards translate into the new formats like it used to; converting it into the current OpenOffice format screws up the page count for some reason without changing the text at all-(I know, right?).  I finally have a little spare time again and I will be revising it within the next week or so and going the route of making multiple formats available for download.

If you experienced this problem and want to retry the download when I get the new formats available, let me know what your buying email address was and I'll find a way to get you a voucher to re-download it.

I knew about WordPerfect even before this story. I read about it in books in 90-s when I started to learn computers and sometimes even used old DOS-based ones. It's interesting where you find version of WordPerfect which works on current-day OSes -:). Btw, is WordPerfect still used _at time of story_? It's possible, give that girls use spinning hard drives and not SSD.
I made file which can I read without too much issues (after using converter + manual tweaks using Calibre's internal epub editor).

The reason for my sticking with Wordperfect is that the file format across all the versions in its nearly 30 year history are largely unchanged; meaning archived documents can be read on the current software versions with zero or nearly zero conversion time.  The version of WP I currently use is actually really meant for WIN XP, I'm just running it in compatibility mode. 

At any rate, I've uploaded a ePub version I created with Sigil called Revision 1G.  I also corrected some grammar and cleaned it up a bit while I was in there.

Also, the girls used spinning hard drives because they vibrate a bit .....

man i bought your story a couple of months ago and didn't had the time to read it, but i now read it and its a masterpiece, but i have a couple of questions

what happened to the girls with the red stickers, did they also became engines, but with other terms?
does v8 industries use women as other appliances, that are not for their business like the server girls, something more like the engines that they lease, like idk a girl made into the frame of a motorbike
what was the offer the girls cant refuse? be a permanent engine in the casino boat?

i loved your story, i hope you can continue writing such amazing stories

Over a year later, the full ebook is not available on the linked site.  Apparently the remaining chapters exist, but perhaps the author is fixing the numerous spelling errors and typos before offering it for sale again.  I hope he does fix it up and posts it somewhere, it has potential.  He might consider getting an editor/proofreader to help.  Lots of candidates available on SOL, or he could ask for help here.
