Tights/Pantyhose Encasement

One of my favourite methods of bondage is tights/pantyhose encasement. (Personally I prefer using the word 'tights' to 'pantyhose', as, to me, 'tights'  better conjures up the image of constriction/restraint and...well, just the notion of being tight and secure!)  If there are any other aficionados of this form of bondage out there, I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas on the subject.

For those who haven't yet added tights to your bondage repertoire, you may think that they are too flimsy and easily torn, but you couldn't be more wrong when used in a bondage situation. Nor does the fact that they stretch make getting out of them any easier when two limbs are inserted into a tunnel of nylon/Lycra designed for one leg only. When used in conjunction with duct tape or ropes, they become impossible to get out of.

My preferred method for tights encasement is for the wrists to be taped tightly together behind the back, palm to palm, before being eased into one leg of the tights and the waist band pulled up around the shoulders to avoid slipping.  A further layer of tape can then be placed over the top of the original layer, thus making the whole thing inescapable (I know this through personal experience).  The second leg of the tights can be left dangling, tied around the victims chest, or pulled over the head to act as a hood (don't forget the gag first).  A similar routine can then be applied to the legs, with circuits of tape around the ankles, knees and thighs both before and after the tights are applied. More tape around the torso/elbows completes the ensemble and leaves your sub trapped in a relatively comfortable cocoon, which if done correctly can be endured for some time.

From a self bondage standpoint, wriggling your way into a behind-the-back tights encasement is possible if you're reasonably flexible. But have a pair of scissors or something else sharp to hand, as it's more difficult to break out of than you think, especially if the tights are good quality and of a high denier.

Hi Steve Spandex, and thank you for your reply to my intro.

Those 3 videos that you give links to are right up my street, especially the last one, and it's interesting to read how you prefer to be "done up" as it were.

My personal preference at the moment is as below, but I'm always looking for variations on the theme!

The 1st pair of tights are put on in the normal way.
Then both legs go into one leg of 2nd pair of tights, which are pulled right up as far as possible.
My ankles and knees are tied with stockings, tights, scarves or rope.
I'm then ball gagged and blindfolded with a scarf and a stocking is pulled right down over my head.
Behind my back, both arms are put as far in as possible into one leg of 3rd pair of tights.
The 2nd leg of this pair is pulled right down over my head to my neck or even farther down over my shoulders.
Behind my back, my wrists and elbows are tied with stockings, tights, scarves or rope.
Next my wrists are tied to my body again with stockings, tights, scarves or rope.
Then my upper arms are also tied to my body as above.
One leg of 4th pair of tights is pulled down tight over my head, upper body and arms as far as they will go.
After this, several more layers of tights are added just using one leg of each pair alternatively on my legs up to my waist and then the next pair pulled down over my upper body, again to my waist.

This scenario is heaven for me at the moment and I hope its of some interest to you.

That scenario sounds inescapable. Which is as it should be. Brilliant stuff.

I was looking through my own stories, and as far as I can remember there are only two (so far) that have tights encasement in them. I'm quite shocked that I haven't used this method of bondage in more of my work, as this is one of my favourites. I'll need to rectify this situation soon.

What kind of tights/pantyhose would be good for bondage encasement because I would like to try it.

It depends what you want from your encasement. If you want the sensation of the tights rubbing sensuously over your skin, then the thin silky soft ones are the best. However, for inescapability, the thicker ones are better as they are less easily torn. These can still be of a nice and soft material of course.

If you're not too fussy, any brand/denier/colour will suffice, however. If you're going for a multi-layered effect, thin silky ones next to the skin, followed by thicker, stronger ones to keep you from getting free would be my suggestion.

I agree with Steve, although you might find that if you are tall like me then the availability of tights that will fit reasonably well, either for wearing as normal or to be used for encasement, is a bit limited unless you are prepared to pay quite high prices. As you may well need a reasonable number of pairs this can work out quite expensive.

Generally, I go for the thicker ones wherever possible, as I find these give more of a tight and constricting sensation when put on than the thinner ones do, and of course they are not so easily damaged or torn.

You can of course get pretty much the same effect by using greater numbers of the thinner pairs.

I've never been encased in pantyhose but it sounds like an inescapable situation. I like selfbondage but I cannot image encasing myself in pantyhose. I don't think I could do this alone. However, I like the idea,

Self-bondage in tights/pantyhose is feasible, as I've tried it. Difficult to get out of too, if you do it right! But also very snug and comfortable.

I have used pantyhose a lot in self bondage but never as encasement. I use them routinely as a hood. I will gag myself and then pull a knee high stocking over my head and then wrap layers of tape over my eyes and around the gag to seal it in tighter. I have tried and cannot scream for help this way. I also use it as a way to help keep plugs and dildos tight in my bum as I wrap more tape around my waist and between my legs. Pantyhose also protect the skin when I use duct tape to bind myself.

Yes, I also think it would be a little more complicated to escape from that. The only thing I can think of is inserting my tied legs into one of the legs of the pantyhose and my tied arms into the other. But I still don't know if I could do it alone.
