Welcome back Locked! I was genuinely concerned for your wellbeing and hope you didn’t find yourself in an oubliette of your own these past 6-8 months. Though I suspect you’d rather enjoy that… Nonetheless, solid storytelling as always. You are a master of suspense and tension. I hope to be reading Chapter 11 soon with the tale meandering back to Jo and Chris’s frame of reference. I recently had the similar thought that (in literature and real-life) the sub is ever at the center of attention, sensuality, and response; perhaps pulling more enjoyment/fulfilment out of the BDSM lifestyle than the dom, as seems to be the internal struggle regarding Jo and how she’s beginning to view Chris and his psyche. The addition of Slaves 1 and 2 are welcome and I can’t wait to see how the dynamics work out in the grand hierarchy of things. I just hope that things don’t become obvious or telegraphed (i.e. I’m waiting to see if there’s a good twist in the future) regarding Chris and Jo. Again going back to the well of the initial chapters and my previous posts, I’m a hopeless romantic and your tale is my guilty pleasure. But they are your puppets and I’m just another audience member, I look forward to watching the rest of the show.

I often go back and re read the earlier chapters, so invested in on the evolving relationship between Jo and Chris and wait with anticipation to see how you will intertwine all of the characters you've developed.

Also, the "Continues in part 11" at the bottom of the page is such a tease.

Well, thank you for the encouragement! Chapter 11 is done and I hope.you all like it.

I have ideas for the tale to continue, but as someone who rarely reads stories that run to xxxxxxxxx 25, or whatever, can I seriously ask is there appetite for much more?

My feeling is I have either no end in sight, or I can wrap things up with chapter 12 and chapter 12 B (an alternative ending).

That's if I don't end up bound in a dungeon before I finish of course ;-)

Glad to hear their is more coming. You ask if there is no appetite for more, the answer is yes. It's a good story with plenty to going for it. It seems popular from just what feedback I see on the forums. I know I have enjoyed it so far. I also understand ending it. As someone who has their own long series still going, though it has a definitive end, some people enjoy longer series and others don’t. Do what you feel good doing.

Like yourself I don't particularly care for overly long stories that drag on well past good concluding points. Many, myself included, got absorbed in your characters and their tale; my advice would be to give it the ending(s) you think best, the ones they deserve. In that way your work will be appreciated for the effort that it is. I have a file full of extra-long chapter stories that were posted with the intention of reading them someday... yet life continues to get in the way.

If there's more in the tank, begin a new series. Who knows? Perhaps Chris and Jo will have cameos therein.

Happy to see the next step and the likelihood of another story. The story is engaging and progressing well in my opinion. I look forward to more as variations of this type of story have ran through my mind aplenty and nice to see someone else's take on it.
