Yes, this is apparently a spa in Japan that mummifies people up.  It seems to have opened this week, so not examples on site, but discounted if you're in the area (reservation required).  The site says it utilizes oxytocins which seems to be a hormone for loving.  Also, sessions appear to be two hours at minimum and comes in Bandages or Wrap.

But out of curiosity, how do you people feel about mummification from a therapeutic angle?  Do you feel better after getting wrapped up?  Do you think there are benefits from bondage?

WOW That's interesting, I'm not sure I would want to be bound by a complete stranger but at the same time it would be exciting being helpless in a "Spa" I just wonder if they let you use a vibrator? :)

Oh damn, I love it, the only detail that bothers me: I prefer it when the feet and head stick out.

So I'm not alone in liking this type of SPA session.
