The clip "Rear Loader 2" was taken from a New York cop / detective series.  A white cop/detective with long hair (possibly the 1980s) and a black cop/detective whose character name is simply referred to as P.G. in the video clip, by his colleague. The pair are taking down the Mob, and need to know the whereabouts of a kidnap victim. The pair interrogate an unwilling informant, by placing said chap in the back of a rear loader. He refuses to talk at first, as he knows any info would mean his death. However, inside the compartment between the ejector plate and the packer, he changes his mind and talks, as he is squashed with tonnes of black trash bags. After spilling the beans, saying the kidnap victim is being held on Pier 3 of Brooklyn, he gets locked inside the truck. It is almost a take on Lethal Weapon, but with different actors playing the lead parts.

Good luck with the video hunt.

We should have played this game when Gromet was away, to amuse ourselves !

Soap operas are the worst, there’s like 8 gazillion episodes and story lines carry over for days, but we’ll see what we can do.

Soap operas are proof that miracles do exist.  Where else could a woman be six weeks pregnant for a year and not give birth to an elephant?
The more I look, the more I see.
The more I see, the more I learn.
The more I learn, the more I know.
The more I know, the less I understand.
The less I understand, the more I look.

Thanks 64Fordman.  I appreciate it is like looking for a needle in a haystack, only we don't even know which haystack, and what the needle looks like !   (Sorry, for the lack of clues.)

Not sure what soap operas Lobo watches. A woman giving birth to an elephant, sounds way too kinky for my liking !

Finding a needle in a hay stack is easy, just let the horse eat the hay then x-ray the horse.

Speaking of miracles, cat fight in a trash compactor just for you Trash girl. Thanks to the Youtube poster who did all that editing.

For the record this is One Life to Live season 34 episode 27, original air date 13 March 2002.

Well done indeed 64Fordman. You are getting good at this.

I had not heard the x-ray horse joke. I liked it.  Poor horse, eating a needle.

Yes it is this clip.

Thanks for birthday wishes. Very kind of you.

This email chain is getting to hold some very good video clips.

We should start a Trashcan Video Library.

Whatever you say boss.

Animal Factory (2000)

Prison movie. Willem Dafoe and Edward Furlong plan to escape while on garbage duty. Furlong climbs into a rear loader truck with a metal pole and black trash bags are thrown on top of him, but a guard comes before Dafoe can get in. The loader is cycled and Furlong is seen climbing out of the pile of bags inside the truck and using the pole to keep from being crushed.

Full movie, scene starts at 1:10:30

Blood Feast (1963)

(Bad) Horror movie. Mal Arnold plays Faud Ramses, an Egyptian freak trying to perform some ancient ritual that requires a lot of female body parts. As he tries to escape police capture he climbs into a rear loading garbage truck, it doesn’t end well for Ramses.

Full movie, scene starts at 1:04:00

Thanks very much, 64Fordman.

The more videos the merrier.

I hope others will add their favourites too.

Personally, whilst I prefer the black bag theme of Animal Factory and the inside shots of the garbage truck, it is less realistic. I think that what happens in Blood Feast is more true.  I say this, because as a responsible website, we should emphasise the safety angle.

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.

Its only fiction.

Don't think a metal pole will protect you in real life. These trucks can smash cars and eat them for breakfast.

Take care out there.

Daffy

While watching Animal Factory I thought about a virtual reality game with those goggles. A player could climb over the back of their sofa, but would see themselves climbing into the back of a garbage truck, all in the safety of the home. Could even pile some full trash bags on the floor to "fall" into.

Child’s Play 3 (1990)

Horror movie. The demon doll Chucky returns for another installment of mayhem. Terry Willis playing Garbage Man uses his front loader garbage truck to pick up a bin containing the doll. When Chucky yells, he climbs in to help and we see Chucky in the cab closing the box and activating the compactor trapping the driver inside. The scene fades to black before the “end.”
