Nice horror story, I would strongly recommend arachnophobic readers to skip this one

Offering two endings was a good idea, yet I am not sure which one I liked better.

Thanks for the feedback folks.

I wanted to try a story that leaned more heavily into the horror elements to honour the spookier side of the season, but I couldn't help rooting for April as the story continued. I started with the darker ending and started re-writing it before settling on keeping the two optional endings.

April seemed like a fighter to me, wanted to make sure she got her chance to get free.
