From the previous administration, I remember stories about mechanized winding of silk or nylon thread around victims on rotating platforms, but I haven't found them searching the present story list. Any suggestions?

Not something for which I can think of many examples, but I can say pretty confidently nothing like that has been removed from the site under my tenure (author removals are rare enough that they're all pretty familiar to me). Might have been removed prior to that, but I think more likely that it was on another site you'd found them.
