"Good boy"

The rise of a cliche? Is this expression already worn out?

It seems everywhere these days, well, if everywhere is limited to story sites and click bait social media videos.

Has it arrived in pop culture media yet? I don't watch enough TV to know, and really, I'm not even sure where pop culture lives anymore.

Does anyone else sometimes feel like they're one "good boy" from throwing their phone?

Or am I barking at the moon again?

I've read this post several times, and it still leaves me scratching my head.  Of course, any dog owner has used the phrase for ages, perhaps as far back as ancient Rome.  I've never encountered it in a story, so maybe your exposure is unique.  Could you add some context?  Frankly, I have no idea what you're referring to or the point you're trying to make.

Good question, Jakbird. Rather than try to link every story I've read lately that overuses this expression, or forward the links of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media site reels and videos using the expression, I recommend a Google search on the terms [ good boy femdom -video ] Searching with Duck Duck Go reveals similar results. I did learn that the expression "Good boy" and to a lesser extent "Good girl" is associated with something called a praise kink.

Hope this helps,
Eido
