What I can already say is that you are a quite talented writer
In only a few pages of text you managed to create an atmosphere in my head (I like that), even if its quite ... urging, intense, pressing - don't know how to describe that yet.
Not my favorite "feeling" while reading, but I will see where this is leading.

Indeed... this is one of the key aspects of Stilettos I wanted to bring across. A very pressing atmosphere. Dark. Seductive, until it isn't. Oppressive. Consent signed in blood. A deal with the devil. Drawn in by the Membership Contract (Stilettos 1).

Have you signed such contracts in your life? Haven't we all? Literal contracts for employment, signing away a portion of your life-force to a job you don't like? Maybe toxic colleagues or a boss who is an energy vampire? Being drained... Club Abyss is a metaphor and it works on multiple levels. This is one of the more important ones, beyond the feet, heels, or latex bondage.

Social contracts where we do things out of implied consent and agreement without questioning the why and the how?

Club Abyss is... an abyss, drawing you in. You stare into the Abyss until it stared back at you.

The characters do everything in consent; even written consent. Yet... the atmosphere the club crafts and the guidelines bind them. Promises of experiences, themes of love and revenge, desires fulfilled; experiences, promotions, learning lessons, all for the small price of your soul (or sole in the metaphorical sense). The members themselves exercising pressure onto each other, taking them to the breaking point, and in some cases, beyond. Into the literal grave of the coffin.

The mysterious Owners, represented by the Count, are indeed a framework spanning the Abyss, of a Lovecraftian nature.

Have you agreed to come into an abyss of your own? Did it look back at you? And what will you find at the very bottom, if there is any?

The teasers for Elise/Nadia/Alex are well appreciated. Here's a couple more fan questions that might rest on spoiler-free ground.
1. Will there be a Stilettos 3?
2. Do you have a regular 'drop date' for releasing new chapters or does that depend on the Plaza publishers?
3. Will Mina and Lena return?
4. What other characters might have a bigger role in future chapters? Ana? Alina? Carmela?
5. Are you considering spin-off stories for The Abyss or origin stories?

1. & 5. No, there won't be a part 3; the story arc comes to a conclusion for all major characters. I don't even know what would come after. Spin-offs or a prequel (Evelyn!), I considered, but I am not looking into it at this time.
2. Teann, who runs the Grometsplaza site, publishes the parts. Up to chapter 12 is published, and up to chapter 15 is in the queue. I'm proofreading and editing the later chapters...

That also mean; I retract my offer to publish the ePub of Stilettos 2... I think it would be unfair to his efforts of editing and getting traffic on the site, if I just drop it in the forum. I am thinking however, to create an ePub for Stilettos 2 up to chapter 12 or 13 when it comes out, so give you guys a better smoother reading and the illustrations.

3. There will be some smaller appearances, and Lena lives rent-free in Evelyn's head.
4. Time will tell.

Speaking of... I am curious who is the most favorite character? And who is most hated?

I have been dying to reply to your posts for 3 days. My computer has been quite ill until today. Finally, I can post. The latest chapter #13 was wonderful. Nadia and Alex in the coffee shop together was quite hot. I love how Nadia can't free herself from the frustration of the belt, the phantom touch of rubber, the dramatic hold that Elise and Alex still have over her. She is by far...my favorite character. Would Elise be my favorite character? Maybe...who wouldn't want a gorgeous and successful and passionate woman obsessed with controlling them? Even so, I love poor Nadia's brilliant suffering. I have always imagined her as a young 20-something shopgirl working in a high fashion house living vicariously through her clients adventures...imagining that the store's stockroom was her own closet. What better torture could Elise have devised with her Rubber rules that to cut off Nadia from the fine silks and satins of her day job? Focing her to be fully enclosed in rubber with gorgeous clothes always kept beyond her fingertips? I think an edgy fashion house like Early Alexander McQueen would have tolerated a rubber shopgirl.
My second favorite character after Nadia/Elise (who are siamese D/s rubber sisters in a sense) would be Ana. I love that she became a rent girl slave to The Abyss by trading her orgasms for cash...and then became cruelly bound to The Abyss through the mysterious edging chamber. I imagine that as a sensual massage that is as powerful as a hit of heroin. So many routes of mental bondage as well as physical bondage have been explored in your story. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. It will be a long week of Stilettos denial for me after a long weekend of Stilettos isolation. I should be a nervous wreck by now.
