There is something so satisfying about Sera finally doing something her father 'expressly forbids'. The transition from being a 'puppet' for her traditional family to choosing to be a 'pony' for herself is a really interesting paradox. Even though she's giving up her voice in the barn, it feels like she's actually gaining a sense of control she never had at home. I'm excited to see where this path leads her in the next part.
