This is great! Your writing continues to be incredible, and I'm really excited to learn more about these characters! I loved the scene that played out - incredibly hot, and also very well paced in that different moments had time to be appreciated, but it didn't drag overall. I also love getting the full play by play of Claire's thoughts versus only getting what she and hence we can assume about Elsie's thoughts. And the way they both played their roles was amazing - I love that sort of dynamic, and this is a great depiction of it. Great work, hope you keep it up!

Your work continues to be absolutely fantastic. The play between these two and how they're both committed to their roles is phenomenal, and I love how the little moments of awkwardness and vulnerability serve to enhance that. Plus that relationship playing into elements of a dom "owning" their sub is something that really fucking does it for me.

There's a phrase that floats around here and there on the net "to be loved is to be known", that came to mind when Claire noted that Elise flicks her lip ring when she's excited or uncertain. That's a great way of showing how these two are getting to know each other.

Plus, the whole thing's wrapped up in an incredibly hot scene, and gives a great view of the trajectory of their relationship thus far, and indications of what's to come all in that one scene! Fantastic work, can't wait to read more!

I've been looking forward to this sort of confession scene, and it did not disappoint! You built up those moments of vulnerability and guilt from Elise so well over the past chapters, and having it all hit her post-climax just worked so well. The kink & sexual elements are, of course, as hot as they've ever been, and then interspersing them with moments of vulnerability from both partners makes the latter so much more effective. Plus switching from Claire's assumption that Elise just collapsed from exhaustion to realising that she's having a breakdown is such a great way of doing it, 'cause of course Claire wouldn't have been looking out for that, not when Elise has been putting on such a good act all throughout their relationship. Obviously some stories will stretch out those elements of pining and/or guilt across multiple chapters/episodes, but I feel like you've given us moments of self-reflection from Claire that indicate that happening off-screen, and kept the focus on those key moments of heightened sensation during these scenes, which has worked really well! And then having Claire take the leading role works so well, if only because Elise is still very young, and we get to see another facet of this relationship that I'd be fascinated to see more of.

Amazing work, hope to see more of it!

Great work as ever - I feel like something that really stood out in this chapter is the similarities between Claire and Brianna. Both starting out from positions of inexperience, with the key difference being Brianna's inexperience being due to youth, and Claire's being not exactly voluntary but the consequence of circumstances beyond her control. But then both being willing to take a chance on one kinky adventure, and then from that going well and risking saying "yes" to what happens after that, and it working out pretty damn well! It's also then fun to compare Brianna's blue hair to Claire's red, and that's a factor that I feel like you're emphasising, which really helps to draw the parallels between the two. Another author on here, Zeedrot has done a few stories showing the same event from two different perspectives, and I'd be fascinated to see the events of Conventional Affair be retold from Claire or Elise's perspective.

Another element I feel really stood out in this chapter is the idea of being a dom(me) as a position of responsibility, or indeed servitude. In both Brianna and Claire's stories, their mistresses play into the idea of "I'm the one in control here, you simply do what I want". But then this chapter starts with Elise getting a catheter because Claire doesn't want to be untied yet. Elise feeds her, Elise has all these scenes and toys set up ahead of time. It's a really fun dynamic to see play out. (My own perspective being from running TTRPGs, where I can spend days preparing a dungeon full of traps and loot to the west of town, but if the players decide they want to go east, then I will simply make up what they find to the east! (Or I'll switch things around so that that dungeon is actually in the east!))

I can't say that when I outlined this story originally I was thinking all that much about the similarities between Brianna and Claire, but as the story grew and took shape the parallels certainly became more and more noticeable.  It's interesting that you should referenced TTRPGs.  I also have a history of playing and running such games, and while it's not quite the same thing I think writing is very similar.  Obviously you don't have other players helping to shape the narrative, but characters can take on a life of their own, and sometimes as they develop they move in directions you didn't expect and you end up scrapping old plans and charging off into a new direction.

That being said, while the idea of retelling A Conventional Affair from Claire or Elise's perspective is definitely interesting, I think that project might be bit too daunting for me.   Certainly fun, but I honestly don't know if I could do it.

As well, I've tried to be somewhat subtle about it, but I have also tried to get across to at least some degree the nature of power dynamics in BDSM and how they function on multiple levels.  I've always heard it said that the domme is in charge, but the sub is in control, and I'm glad that it's come across well.  Admittedly, Leatherbound Hearts delves a little more deeply into such themes and the nature of such relationships than any of my other stories, but it is something that's always been in the back of my mind.

In any case, not many chapters left so I hope you enjoy the upcoming finale.
