Hi,
I very much enjoyed reading your story, Adventures of Locktober.
I thought your setup was great, Todd giving Amy the leather belt on a dare, her getting him the CB-2000 for Christmas. His eagerness to try it, but their struggle to get what they needed from it, and then the failed Locktober with the CB-3000. The next year, Todd's commitment to the challenge and Amy's determination to take control and ensure their success
I will mention two things, not because I believe they detract from or take away from the story.  I do it ONLY because I'm anal about such things. But that's just me, so don't let me distract you from writing more about Amy and Todd.
1. You set the story in 2021, and that October 1st was a Sunday. That doesn't work for 2021, but does for 2024.
2. There is Sunday, Day 22 (correct in 2024), but the next day is Day 24. Seems to be a missing day.

That was an amazing and hard to read story! Every once in a while I think maybe I could have tried submission. Then a story like this totally blows that idea away. I really liked the pacing and the paucity of detail in the first part, the pre-Lori part. Amy and Todd were believable characters and I liked the mystery about them. You didn't give us their whole past in some info dump. Of course, the story became more fantastical in the 2nd part and it stretched personal suspension of disbelief even though I've met a few people who were really that out in their play. There were 2 or 3 continuity glitches, if I read right. Sometimes it's hard to focus on the technical details. Amazing fun story that pulled me down the rabbit hole. Now I go to see what else you have written. Thanks for sharing your work,
