I am left with mixed feelings here about this story, but not for the normal reasons.  There is nothing to be upset about, nothing disturbing or worrying.

Instead we have something intimate, something private and personal, something that is packed with a *massive* amount of feeling, passion and emotion when it hits the high notes!

But it needs some editing love.  Normally I would not comment, but there are various times when its confusing, since in the middle of someone speaking there is a new line, a new paragraph.  It makes it harder to read than it should be, since you have to go back and work out what is happening.  Also there are some points where the internal logic isn't quite right.  Is someone still gagged or not?  Which parts of the body are currently wrapped in a cast?

None of this spoils the story, or really gets in the way, but they are subtle irritations that pulled me back and out, pulling me back from the surging emotions, feelings and energy of all of this.

But look past that, take in the characters, their connection, their history, the trust and the love between them...  the spark that must have lit this monster of a fire...  the crazy situation we end up with, the escalating and growing level of casting, of restraint, teasing and torment...

The sheer creative and inventive wickedness at work come the end, but also the deep care, the after care, the being treasured...  there really is a lot to like here!

So I do hope the author returns to these characters, to this world, to this story and gives us more to love and savour

I also enjoyed this story. But, I agree, I found it a little bit confusing, and the formatting was weird. But I hope for more. Maybe they are plastered together, or at the same time? That could be interesting.
