I'm glad that Maggie and Paula are fully fleshed out characters, nothing worse than people just being props.

Plotting table?  What plotting table?  This sounds interesting, do tell me more...  *radiates helpful interest*

Commas, its about where and how you use them.  But entering / leaving a speech block tends to benefit from some punctuation.  There is a difference in how it flows if the speech block ends with a comma before the closing double quotes and a full stop after all.

If you are interested, I will pull together a few paragraphs that show my edits, to try and show a bit more clearly what I am thinking, and maybe even doing correctly

For taste, the tongue does the tasting, and only picks up 5 different flavours, sweet, bitter, sour, salt and umami.  So a few micro holes on the "base" of the gag, where the tongue would end up resting, would be enough to allow taste to be delivered to anyone who is locked up.

Scent is harder, partly due to the massive number of smells that people can detect, but its certainly something that can be worked on with time, but a simple place to start might be the "smell of sex", to be added to the air flow when the vibrator is running, to add another dimension to what is going on, and what is being done to "drive" the "lucky" passenger towards a pleasure peak...

The shell game, the correct stimulation being sent to the "wrong" encasement...  suddenly I am remembering and thinking about a totally different story...  follow along for a few moments if you will.

with 8 parts in total, if anyone wants to check it out.  The somewhat fanciful idea was a boyfriend, who's girlfriend worked in the local mental institute, who had a long running fantasy of being a patient, and his girlfriend, and some others, including one of the doctors, smuggled him in as a pretend patent for a few days, as a giggle, to see if they could, to toy with him, and also so the doctor could run some tests on a "normal" person.

The point that my mind jumped to was only in passing in the story, our temporary patient was wired up to a load of sensors and had a whole slideshow of images played at high speed.  The images were designed to cover all sorts of possible erotic triggers, and the sensors would tell them which images and ideas he responded to, so the doctor had a much better idea than either him or his girlfriend, of what actually sexually excited him, and how much.

Now, returning to us, we are considering a handful of "lucky volunteers", people we don't really know well, so we don't know what will excite them the most.

Going off on another tangent, one reason for picking women here is "ease".  If you want to wire a woman up with a a dildo and butt plug you don't need to make extra space on the outside.  But for a man, the sort of penis pump that is being used to such delightful and wicked effect on Phil doesn't fit with the elegant and clean lines of a sculpted statue encasement.

Oh dear, now I am thinking about Egyptian death masks, and Terry Pratchett...  Remember Pyramids?  All of the dead kings were made to look rather different, and somewhat identical, when their masks were prepared...

Three "identical" statues are prepared, each with a different woman inside.  At first I had been picturing these as really identical on the outside, which works so well for various different mind games, but since they are being printed on demand, keep the bodies identical, but make the faces just *slightly* different...  so statue A, which will wrap around Becky, has very subtle echos of Mandy's face.  Meanwhile statue B, which will wrap around Sindy, the face has very subtle echos of Becky.  Not enough for anyone to consciously pick up on the differences in the statues, but enough for a sub-conscious bias for anyone who knows and fancies one of these women to be drawn to the wrong statue...  after all, if we are going to confuse and lead people astray, we might as well do so properly!

Now, back to where I was going a minute ago, as it stands there is a lot of "down time" for these statues, where no one is interacting with them, or playing with these women.  Now for Phil this is much less of an issue, since his two "guardian angels", or should that be "guardian devils", are on hand, making sure he gets LOTS and LOTS of attention and stimulation...  plus we are all learning how much he enjoys simply being left helpless, dark and silent, to consider what might happen next...

But our "lucky volunteers", we cannot assume they will have the same active helpers...  so one of the first steps could make use of the computer that is linked to their case, and all of these sensors, to run through a large library of possible sexual triggers, to find out what each women is interested in, and might respond to.  If not done soon after being settled into place, then certainly that night, we need the results sooner rather than later after all!  Then we are in a much better position to start a bit of "positive feedback" to teach them that being secured into such a device is a real turn on!  Plus we need them to come out having had a large number of massive orgasms, the orgasms ideally taking longer to achieve, but being bigger, the longer they are inside, as the system learns their triggers and reactions.  After all, we are selling sex here, so we need to make sure its a key part of the experience!

The video screens can be used to show all sorts of recorded images and films, but lets not forget hearing...  add a computer voice program to the system, and the system can talk to the women, telling them what is coming up, what options were available for them, and what was finally selected...  we have seen the power of the right words whispered into Phil's ears, so others should also get a good whispering to...

Taking this a step further though, for a later part, once this has been shown to be working, what other options are offered to the people outside, once someone is secured inside one of these statues?  Do we pick which new sexual fetish / object of desire each woman is encouraged to be attracted to?  How about a little game between the statues / women, where the first to orgasm doesn't get any more orgasms until they are released, instead being teased relentlessly, while the others get as many orgasms as can be wrung out of them?  Someone needs to be making decisions here about how they are treated, and, well, we cannot ask them since they are locked up, gagged, and anonymous, so someone else will have to decide on their behalf...

Re: Triggering Images being a gateway to hidden desires. I did a similar thing regarding the feedback based on images in the "Jabba's Palace" story. Also it could be used to encourage new desires in "volunteers". Maybe using AI generated images of the person in the type of bondage the person who encased them wants to indulge in. You see yourself mummified and the machinery triggers you to have a massive orgasm while that image appears in front of your eyes over and over. Until you associate mummification with pleasure.

Women do indeed have an advantage in plumbing that wouldn't be as obtrusive visually in a statue situation.

There is a theory, more of an observation perhaps, that in terms of sexual stimulation, men are visual creatures, while women look for and need something else, often something more subtle and complex.  A collection of graphic but emotionally empty pictures can get a very strong reaction from a lot of men.  But if you look at a book shop, assuming you can find one, back in the days before 50 Shades, there were already a LOT of books aimed at women, that had a lot of sex scenes, but it was also wrapped up in a lot of romance.

Now, it is interesting to note that books where the woman was kidnapped, or married off to some unknown and "cruel" man, or any number of other plots involving "you have no choice" were very popular.  Strangely enough, it seems that in these books the woman was able to win over the terrible ogre they were trapped with, and it was all just a fantasy anyway...

But little girls are brought up on the "princess is a captive, princess is rescued" style of fairy tale, and it is widely observed that women are drawn to arseholes *shrug*  I know, broad generalisations, but we need to start somewhere.  But it might make some more responsive to "you are trapped, now you are at my mercy"

The point of all of this is that simply throwing some images up on the internal screen and linking it to the vibrators is unlikely to sway women quite as easily as men.  Now I see this as a good thing, an excellent plot opportunity, rather than a problem.  We can consider the sorts of teasing that gets whispered to the women, what it is paired with, how the system, or the controller will tease and toy with the women, looking at their reactions and trying to tailor their responses to the goal they have been given.  At this point, the company is in the "ideas and experimenting" stage, working out what is possible, what works, what looks like it will sell, etc.

But think about what the company wants, and what makes them money...  sell someone the sarcophagus and you have a sale.  Sell someone the sarcophagus and then sell them some "we personalise the program, so it learns and keeps on getting better" and you have a sale AND a subscription...

Now I am thinking of Phil and his two controllers, sorry, I mean loving and doting partners, friends, and controllers, as the golden goose here...  you need to give them room to experiment, printer time, money, help and space.  All the while looking to learn as much as they can from these fun and games, and offering plenty of expert help to assist in these games with Phil, to push the encasement further, the devices further, the computer programs and responses further...  Also helps to explain any leaps in the capabilities of the next sarcophagus that Phil gets to experience as well

But more than this, they will want to try running some tests with other people as well.  A sort of random plan here, to avoid taking this into to dark and terrible a direction, anyone going into the device needs to know that they are looking to "fine tune" their sexual responses, find out what makes them horny, and encourage them to respond more strongly.

Yes, I like that phrasing, suggestive but gentle, nothing too scary there.  But since it is all at the development stage, sounds so much better than experimental stage, they don't want to explain what they are doing to the person going in, so they have to have a significant other on hand, a sexual partner they trust and who knows what is going on.  The reason, in part, is that this partner is going to be the one picking what programming is attempted, and checking the results, and providing feedback to the company afterwards.  After all, both parties are being paid to help out here, and this is part of what they are being paid for.

Plays well when you think about the sex expo as well, since there can be people on hand explaining the type of programming they are going for, for each of the models, showing some of the changes to their responses already, in the hours they have been locked into the display statues...  how this was selected for the models, and how this is a new product they are working to bring to market.

From a story point of view, its another layer and type of control that the person going into the device gives up.

Plumbing issues and being my alter ego aside, Phil is inside the various devices for that additional reason of men being "known" as more visually oriented. Streaming sexy images to Phil while locked inside is effective at getting his interest to "peak"

While for a woman "volunteer" I'd have a sexy male with a vague accent reading these stories into their ears. Maybe even custom write them a story featuring them by name and describing literally what was planned for them.

Now the comment about using images on Phil is interesting, since in the published parts so far, using visual stimulation is almost an after thought, so far!  Obviously this is just so far.  Yes, we have had the scenes of the two women keeping themselves busy, but the display panel has been used more to tease his desire to be locked up more fully, and see just how much trouble he is in *smirk*

So seeing more experimentation with finding out what works to stimulate and excite a captured and fully restrained Phil is a most interesting thought, which I am looking forward to seeing.

From a story point of view, the details of images shown to Phil, or the audio fed to Phil, or anyone else, doesn't really need to be fleshed out too much, but we do want enough information to get a good mental image of what is happening, so we can try to visualise and enjoy the ideas at work here.

The teasing voice for Peggy certainly works well, and can easily be seen as the sort of thing that will evoke the right sort of responses and reactions.

A thought on the voice though, technology is certainly at the point were a woman, who would "in general" be better at understanding the importance of whispering the right things into another woman's ears, could be talking, but her voice could be run through a computer to give her the sort of rich, wicked male voice that could work so very well here...  so the mind and imagination of a woman, the computer monitoring reactions to help offer up suggestions of what to say, so a bit of AI helping, and another computer program to give her the voice for maximum effect...

*smirk* just wondering if certain words could be "played" though the vibrators and even parts of the shell, to give them a lot of added emphasis, and sort of a deep base reverb.  This could be very subtle, just to add gentle emphasis to key points, or really overt, to stress the total containment and helplessness of our packaged captive...

The Character Creation Cage is only to be used when an author is unmotivated and needs isolation so they can rekindle their inspiration. Not normally involved in insemination.

Luckily I have many past friends and partners to use as seeds to create my hopefully well rounded characters, so far.

Phil's video feed has not been fully utilized yet, in combination with other stimulation to achieve the desired results of say a Marketing Department selling kinky high end designer devices.

I could see where using feedback from bio monitors to tailor an AI voice to trigger our women volunteers desires would be efficient and potentially more effective than a one size fits everyone solution.

Of course sound reactive vibrators already exist, but I assume you have something more interactive in mind.  Maybe planting it subconsciously at a below hearing threshold, but with pleasurable vibrations or stimulation timed to trigger and reinforce the planted ideas.

I question the lack of need for the cage. After all, is it possible for an author to have too much motivation and inspiration? I think we need to consider this as a safe resting spot for certain writers, to keep them on task...

Insemination you say, what a wicked word. This does raise the idea for a mind game later on. I am thinking a woman secured and put on display somewhere very busy, so the sex expo works well, and her responsible partner is on hand and knows that she enjoys the teasing fantasy of being bred.

Once on display her partner explains to her that they are running a competition, like a raffle perhaps. The story is that each ticket buyer makes a semen deposit, and then a few winning ticket holders have their semen deposits pumped through her vibrator, deep into her vagina, to see how fertile she is at the moment. Now please put all ideas off a one size fits all solution out of your mind, unless there is a real need. The printed shells are all customised, this is a high end product here, not something that is mass produced and all of them are the same. The only way I can see identical stimulation and input to more than one woman, or man, at the same time working, is to prove the benefits of a tailored experience, or as part of a "who comes first on maximum stimulation losses or little game", but even that feels beneath you.

Voice and stimulation, I have a couple of thoughts here. So let's try to flesh them out and work through the thinking.

Once we get to playing porn videos or letting other peoples voices come through to Phil, keep the extra vibrations turned off, but enable them at a subtle level when either of his ladies are talking to him. We want to reinforce the point that they bring him pleasure, they are the ones in control of his fate and he is safe in their hands, so some positive reinforcement whenever they are interacting with him.

Next thought, we already had one point where one of the women ordered Phil to orgasm just as the printing finished. But think about this in terms of "dom voice", those moments when the dominant is issuing a command, given the packaged nature here it's going to be a command to orgasm mainly, this is the sort of time when you want the voice to have extra power, reverberation, focus... does this make sense? This idea is adding some of that extra power to the voice and the moment.

More broadly, think about how some men are said to have such a deep voice you can almost feel it as much as hear it. I am thinking about trying to use vibration paired to the voice to add a "tingling in my naughty bits" element to the voice, something that you don't get through your ears. Does this make sense? Again it's about trying to make the experience of being teased while contained as immersive and multi sensory as possible.

Mind games and unknown partners, a true story. For many years I've had a partner who enjoys treating me like Maggie treats Phil. I think you are correct about the no "one size fits all" , these are custom devices and as such will have custom experiences, whether through decisions the controllers make or through some sort of AI subscription feedback model sold a service by the company. I think Fantastic Plastics is either going to have to spin up a whole new division or partner with someone already in that tech space.

We've all heard of the literary trope "His deep rich baritone voice seemed to touch parts of her body that had nothing to do with her ears." Of course our AI friend could detect the key words such as "Cum for me!" as an imperative command and make it happen. Then Phil or our female volunteer will eventually come to associate the command with the eventual result. At some level they will realize the command is a command and the "device" will make it happen, so why fight it?

But I'm leaning towards a more subliminal programming approach as it were. Phil quickly became aware of the patterns of people activating the interactive laptop while trapped in the mummy case. The human mind is very quick to detect patterns, like Pavlov's dogs. If X happens, then Y follows. Of course as the psych boys (and game programmers) will tell you, you want to set up that expectation but then not always deliver it, the expectation of a reward and then random fulfillment are more effective then just always rewarding the player. That's why early levels of games do have a higher frequency of rewards for players, they are setting up that expectation. Then as the levels increase in difficulty the rewards are more rare. This makes the random reward all that much sweeter.

So I'm thinking that our AI or "brain in the box" has more game theory then Pavlovian programming, if that makes sense.

*looks at baronlaw with deep suspicion*  do you think I was birthed yesterday?  Hands should be secured into mittens, with a nice rough exterior, and those mittens should further be secured to the edges of the case, nicely away from any sensitive and good to stimulate spots on certain authors anatomy...  no need for any freedom of motion there.  Certainly no need for any options for self satisfaction!  This is supposed to be a work space for focusing on what I deem important, so we need to make sure your motivation is kept up.

As for typing, a dictation system is fine.  Then any unnecessary web access, or appeals for early release, can be properly filtered out!  Really, its like you think this is all about you...

Mind games and partners...  WOW!  You have a truly AMAZING partner, and a massive amount of trust, and a very solid history together here!!!  You are BOTH deeply lucky to have each other!

So, I don't need to try and explain the level of trust, of history, connection and understanding that is required to hand over this level of control, safe in the knowledge that while you may, in fact sometimes will, be pushed past the limits you had set, and felt comfortable with, you are always in safe hands, and are constantly being watched over!  It is this history, this sort of connection and partnership that needs to live at the heart of the relationship between the characters for all of this to work, as far as I am concerned.

Here of course, the responsible party on the outside not only knows the secured person very well, they have the benefit of all of the sensors and feedback to help them gauge their responses even better, their stress levels, their pleasure levels, making sure they are never getting too close to panic, or on the other hand, getting board and under stimulated!

A brilliant concept with cardboard cut out characters that you don't care for, that don't have feelings and reactions, is never going to work so well, or achieve so much.  Instead it is going to feel quite hollow instead.

There are a few stories out there that deal with the idea of turning women into breeders, and related concepts.  My mind had actually gone towards this story, if you want to have a quick look:

but wanted something a bit more "mind game" like, and less...  well, less trying and failing to force the issue.

Years ago I came across a fascinating set of images from House of Gord, it started with a woman in a full body cat suit and a wooden frame that was going to be filled with expanding foam that set solid.  The final position was sort of a T shape, her lower legs were vertical, she was bent at the waist with her bottom pushed well back.  Her bottom stuck out one side of the block of foam, and her head and shoulders out the other.  The rest of her body was fully enclosed, and locked solidly in position by the foam.  The same sort of idea we are exploring here, but done without the advantages of solid, and perfectly printed plastic.  Once everything was set solid, the cat suit on her bottom was cut away, leaving this part of her sticking out of a solid surface, vagina and anus readily available.  *Insert many comments about safety, and fumes from expanding foam*

Something that could be done better, and in a lot of ways "easier", with the printing tools in this story here.  But I was trying for something more interesting than "just" someone tied up, one or more holes made available, and lots of random fucking.  Don't get me wrong, that is good, and can be excellent, but if we can come up with an interesting approach and take on the idea, all the better!  Having said that, there is something deliciously objectifying about reducing someone to just one or more anonymous holes for others to use for sex, especially since here the body can be merged into all sorts of displays, so you can have the hips / bottom sticking out unexpectedly of an otherwise "neutral" display or object...

A desk!  There is a long running fantasy / idea of the secretary disappearing under the bosses desk and providing a blowjob on demand, hidden from view by anyone who sits on the other side of the desk.  But how about taking this to the next level...  think about those rising and lowering stand / sit desks that are out there now a days.  Consider a desk with an embedded woman, or man, depending on taste, where the embedded, bent in half and anonymous person can be lowered and positioned so that the hard working and stressed out executive can simply shift slightly in their seat and slide into a pre-lubed hole when ever they want some relaxation and stress relief.  Then, when they are done, the body gets tucked away again out of sight and the desk looks normal, if overly chunky.

For all of the AI and making sense of the sensors monitoring the "volunteers", yes, this is going to call for a set of specialists that would not normally be required at a plastic printing company.  Perhaps try to pull in a couple of people first, rather than going to an external company?  After all, they want to keep control of the product here, and if done right the computer systems, AI, customised feedback that makes the most of the different shells that are produced will become the more important part of this product line.  That will take time, certainly, but if you are looking ahead, you don't want to hand the crown jewels to someone else!

I know I keep cycling back to the company, but we want to keep this rooted in the internal logic of who is funding all of these crazy games   After all, if we are going to move towards longer stays inside these encasements, we need to think about budgeting for paying for our volunteers time, even if only a bit.  24 hours is something someone can find if they are motivated, but 2, 3 days, let alone more, even if split across several sessions and different printed cases, its time off work and not earning.  Keeping the story rooted keeps the internal logic sound, so we can really focus on the kinky wickedness of it all!

As for the time and energy here, it's almost like I am investing in an author who is producing something OH so worth while   Also, you reply and discuss these thoughts, allowing us to keep thinking and exploring!  Much harder to do when talking into the void *shrug*

The level of trust going on between the characters, the depth of understanding, makes more sense now given your own history to draw on, to guide things.  It is one of the things I noticed, but never felt the need to really comment on.  The story drops us into events, but has yet to touch on any form of back story, so I am left wondering how come Phil has such trust, and Maggie has such a deep knowledge of his interests, and what is going to work on him, and for him.

I have very vague memories of the film Barbarella, I half remember the opening striptease, but that's about it.  So I certainly don't remember any body parts in objects, but I do think this is an idea that needs to be explored.  After all, normally its something that is just crazy difficult to do, but suddenly its almost easy, coming naturally from the encasement process...  so many wonderful ideas to explore here!

Oooh now if you really wanted to go for something surprising down the line, in a later chapter, find a model / volunteer who has lost one or more limbs.  This isn't about sensualising the injury, but playing with perceptions.  Firstly, the perception that someone with such an injury is no longer a sexual being, who wants and enjoys sex.  But much more importantly here, its about where the "limbs" go...

If you have a large object, then body parts appearing in the middle is easy to understand, since there is obviously plenty of space for the rest of the body to be folded into.  Yes, a contortionist can fit into a surprisingly small and twisty space, but there are clearly limits, limits that suddenly stop working the way you expect if your model doesn't have the expected body shape...
