There are some more chapters if there is interest in furthering the story. 3.5K views may not be a lot compared to others, they just may need a proofread by another set of eyes if they are to be released.

I thought this may be the best place to see if anyone was interested in the story continuing. If not, then I will go back to my Duplo blocks. (Those who have read the story will guess where my bent lies).

To be clear, the 3.7K views figure is for the feedback topic in the forum, not the story itself. If I had to theorise, I would say that the number of views is about proportional to the number of parts a story has, since every time they get an update it attracts a certain number of views from visitors to the forum. If anything, the story views for 100 Acres are above average for a pony/petgirl story.

It would be nice if site gets public reading stats for stories (with initial definition of "read" like = request for specific page from same IP per day)

The authors now have this available to them, if they want to see the stats for their own stories (and anyone who wants it can ask for their stats link). I am deliberately not making that information publicly available, a) because it generates some load on the server to query it, and b) I don't want to encourage competitiveness amongst authors or judgements on categories.

It is pretty clear that the data is very noisy, and that many of the visits are from search engines and other crawlers, so if you're hoping that page view counts can be used as an objective approximation for popularity, I'll tell you now that's not what they'd give you. I based the above statement on some rough analysis of equivalent stories in the same category, but 'equivalent' is not an objective measure. There's probably work that could be done to improve the signal to noise ratio, but it's a bottomless pit to put time into. So for now authors get the raw data, and I don't present it generally so as not to give anyone the impression that popularity can be determined reliably.
