i read part one when it came out, completely forgot about it, and then have been skipping the updates because "i never started that one, so i'd be confused".  except i did start it.  anyway, just reread the first part, and i see i have a lot to catch up on.   ;D

sammy808

finally caught up, and i cannot wait for the Halloween stories to come out.

this is like all of my favorite fetishes combined with my favorite politics combined with, again, my favorite fetishes.

can't wait to read more.  i'm glad it only took me 3 days to finish.  i now kind of wish my time dilation was enough to get the whole thing at once.
XD

That's quite the reading effort!  Thank you for the kind words, and I hope the last chapter of Tome 4 won't disappoint.

Related to your comment somewhat:  Chapter 25 is also going to be an alternate entry point into the story - I knew that the Halloween special may have new readers who aren't familiar with the story, so it's written with that in mind.  That means there is maybe half a page's worth of "extra text" but I am pretty sure it won't be too much of an inconvenience :)

if i can point something out:  in Tome 2, Maker suggests that Judith's hands are the same size at either 92 or 54, but in 4-20, we learn that Seal is #54.  this is probably not something anyone who isn't obsessive to the point of taking notes would have noticed, but it popped up when i sorted my list.
and i hope lots more people get on board with 4-25.  i'm super looking forward to it!

Ooh good catch!  I'll edit my master file right away.

QuoteAnd while some writers were definitely positive influences (Erika Moak and Tiggerstretch specifically for this story)

Hehe, you realize you just raised my expectations for this story again? ;)

QuoteAnd one of these things to avoid are characters devoid of interiority,

...and again? :P

You can throw dragons at me, trolls, speaking animals, aliens - or, to take your example - characters wearing latex 24/7, as long as the story in itself remains "believable"
So, if you want your character to wear latex 24/7, make the "latex" a parasitic alien (I am currently reading "Parasitic Love", sorry) or of some kind of exotic/advanced material (and the environment futuristic / otherworldly to match this).

well, chapter 25 is now out, I guess it's time to find out if the story is to your liking :)

As it happens, I just started reading through Chapters 1-7 yesterday, and I like what I've seen yet :)

You put much effort into making this plausible and believable, the institute could be located in a village around me.

Your characters aren't overly deep yet, but as you choose Judith to be an observer for now, that was to be expected. (This is where your pen-name comes from?)

Anyway, I am looking forward to continue this story :)

BTW: I think you made River talk during the party ;)

Surely you are perfectly aware that after you have made me addicted, you are now responsible for quickly providing me with more of it?
Especially after Chapter 25 ends with a cliffhanger suggesting a hostile party?

Seriously: very good story, well thought out and plausible, well written.
Perhaps too many characters for my taste (reminds me of "Emma's Fetish Cruise Adventure"), especially since many of them also appear under two (sometimes even three) names, which increases the number of characters to keep in mind.

I liked that Judith feels more and more a part of the Institute, and that this is not only _said_, but also shows itself, for example, in the choice of her work clothes, up to the Halloween costume (no spoilers :P ), or in her way of expressing herself ("patients" => "patients / sisters" => "sisters" exclusively).

I also liked that you didn't need any drama between your characters to move the story forward, all the characters are friendly, helpful (even Spyder) and stick together. This may sound "boring," but it actually contributes to the desired image of the institute, which can only work if everyone helps each other, but it is also not an end in itself, as can be seen in Red (or Judith herself).

i think River's innocent here.  there's an introduction, some side comments, and then:

"she replied in a metallic voice"  so she's using the voice synthesizer.

"intoned River"  i just read this as River using the box again.

i'm not trying to be difficult, just super obsessed with this story.  makes me want to write again.

River: I see I need to reread the passage...
Here it is:

QuoteRiver came over to check on me – I looked at her wordlessly, unable to express what was happening to me. I saw a flash of understanding in her eyes, and she came closer – oh god she was so close – and she said in my ear.

"Listen, if you don't want to be here you can leave. I know it's a lot the first time. Consent remember? Or you could fight it, or just ... go with the flow."

...and I understand your obsession, the story is really good :)

"write again"?
Have I possibly read anything from you yet?
