So what I'm now working on is the last chapter (25) of tome 4, which is a "halloween" chapter.  It's narrated by a different character, with less knowledge of the Insistute, so it should be easier for a new reader to "get" the story. I don't want to miss this year's Halloween stories publication on here, so it might come out before the rest of tome 4.  Chapter 19 and 20 are already written, but I don't think I can manage to finish chapters 21-24 in time. So this fall is the most precise I can be.

An update.  I clearly missed the halloween release, but I have been inching forward.  I now have written 15 K words in Tome 4, and I'm past the halfway mark ... not great progress, but it's progress.  I wrote 3 pages this week so far.

I should also mention that I've also written 9 k words in tome 5, so hopefully that one will go a bit faster!  But the main factor is how well the words flow.  It was going great for tome 3, not so much now.
