Smuggler enslaved by a space station

I'm trying to find a story about a woman who is a smuggler or a fugitive who finds an abandoned space station where she hides from those looking for her. It's an alien space station and she ends up being controlled by the stations computer, dancing on a stage for a non existent audience basically going through the motions to serve the space stations occupants when they return.
I've been searching but can't seem to find anything
