Long time between 1st and 2nd chapters, I remember reading the first chapter a while ago, but that fact that it was memorable tells you how good it was.  I went back and reread it, thinking it might be necessary for this second installment, but it wasn't.  I like this second chapter as well, enjoyed the play at the end with him leaving and then coming back.
