Wow, great story, love the entire series!

So, was the "author" in the first part you? Was she just a good way to recap or is she part of the tale? She is being interviewed on Halloween  .
 Also, looks like Dan's new outfit could be permanently or semi-permanently affixed, could it be another haunted costume? Lots to think about and lots of possibilities, can't wait for next Halloween
