A delightfully dark and erotic tale with a hint of Lovecraft with the New England setting. Very well written.

Ah thanks! Go ahead and use it, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :)

That was a fascinating, and really quite disturbing read :)  I love all of the details, the way the spider queen fits into the community so well, the sense that there is so much history, history that is hinted at, clearly there, but never actually explained or spelled out, since we don't actually need to read it, it is enough that it is there.

The slow, teasing way that she is drawn in, teased and tempted, tested and considered, no single step is ever to big or to sharp, but the steps are relentless, endless, all going in the same direction.

Then all of the comments, the comparisons between a human perspective and a spider perspective, very well done, it brought the spider very much to life and made them seem all the more real and believable!
