At last I thought I'd figured out what the surprise ending in one of the Technicians stories would be early on.  Oh joy!!!
Then, I read the story. 
WHAT!! The surprise on the next page?! You rat, Technician!!! You got me again! 
But, I carried on, hooked again by the writing and story.
Loved it!
