Looking for a story about a failed revenge plot.

Just remembered this one today, but I can't rememeber the title or author or details.

It's about a girl who turns herself into (disguises herself as) a mannequin (sexdoll?) to get revenge on this other woman (guy?).

It ends badly for her.

It doesn't ring a bell but there isn't much here to jog my memory, Can you give me any more details, even if you are not 100% sure of them?
