Title: Gagged Utopia.

 I am sure other  folks will have experienced problems with accessing  Gagged Utopia. Its only one of many sites with the same issues as are pointed by teanndaorsa. My experience of this has thus far been with Microsofts Edge/Chrome. However Firefox is as reliable as always if this is any help.

Recently Chome and other browsers have discontinued support for older versions of SSL. Unfortunately, the platform this website runs on does not support TLS v1.2. Rebuilding a new server and website is the only solution. I have been working on this project for a while but have made limited progress. With this new obstacle I've tried to commit more time to the effort but it will likely be months before anything can be done.

I understand Secure Socket Layers and Transport Layer Security, So why no issue with Firefox?

Not sure.

I was on it earlier today on my phone but as soon as I clicked a link I lost it, so I may have been viewing a cache copy

utopiastories.com? Works for me.
Last Stable Chrome.
SSL server tests (https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=www.utopiastories.com&latest ) shows it does support TLS 1.2 now (but not TLS 1.3 and A LOT of weak ciphersuites are supported)

you could try to force using http (enter address directly as http://utopiastories.com ) , it's not as if it contains something secret

does anyone know what happened to the https://www.utopiastories.com/home.asp website? it has been stagnant since Dec. 5th and last story update was just before Thanksgiving? It does appear that his other sites are being updated, just nothing for his story site. if it was just a tech issue that needed work on, I am sure there are some in the community willing to pitch in to help. either way there were authors who i only found on that site, would not like to loose all that talent!
