I have just caught up with this, so read the whole thing in one delicious go!
The start point is very interesting, I do enjoy the mixture of happy and kinky childhood memories of them together, with them re-discovering both each other and their shared passions and interests as adults, many years down the line.
This bypasses the whole introducing one another to each other and to bondage, and also sets the stage for Daz to have a detailed and fairly deep understanding of what Caroline wants, has experienced, and the shape and nature of her fantasies, after all, all those years ago she was the one doing all of the directing and instructing :)
The characters are well drawn, these come across as real, interesting adults who are real people, not just simple characters going through the motions. The feelings, the worries, the desires and passions, even the moments of "will he like what he see's?" all draw the reader in and make this feel real and keep me involved.
Having the leather jacket business as a cover for all these kinky activities is simple, yet works so very well. This also opens the door to other characters, to new equipment to experiment with, and for the need to model new devices, and to try them out.
Still, seeing them suddenly branching out into offering bondage hotel services was quite a surprise, I simply did not see that sort of change of direction coming, but it works so well, but by suddenly allowing for two rather different levels of bondage intensity to happen at the same time, it also opens up new emotional directions for the couple, for their relationship and for their future.
This is before we even get into regular visits from his oversees buyers, and the fun this is offering up!
I really do hope that the author has more parts of this story in mind, since I very much look forward to reading more of this wonderful story :)
