Thank you Trash Girl. I have it written in my head, but thought that there wasn't all that much interest so I moved onto other things, the longer stories not entirely suited to what we do here. I will get to if there is interest though, and thank you again for your kind thoughts.

Any hope of a continuation or conclusion....
I actually have a solid start on the next chapter, and I already know how it ends, but motivation for this is my problem with the other projects I have going on. I will endeavor to finish this story though, you've asked, and you're not the only one who has. As a bit of a teaser, our main character loves her new alter ego, and I see her wanting to keep her new body after the voyage is over; which could present a dilemma for the crew of the Fortunate and threaten to reveal what they've done to a fellow "crewman" for their own personal gain.

So, a minor update to the Ships Queen; The Prisoner Of The Xlant was part seven, written in 2021, but not attached to the other six stories for some reason. I didn't pick up on this myself, and saw no further interest in the story so I kind of moved onto other projects. The fault for this is my own, I make no excuses here, but I only discovered this when I went to pick up the story line again, finding my characters someplace chronologically that I didn't leave them in the more easily found part six.
So, part seven is in my author's section presently, and I'm working on part eight now, sorry for the confusion, Jackie.
