May I suggest a link on the Plaza welcome page to the Story contest voting page?
Also, would it be possible for authors to have access to voting results, or should we vote for our own stories to gain access to that information?

I'm trying to avoid telling anyone what to do, but my suggestion to you (and the other authors) would be to go ahead and vote for your own story so you can see the poll.
