Placed on public display, one of my most favorite scenarios. I am left to wonder though if the girls have grown tired of their play toy bulking up as he is, using this as a convenient method of disposal, although letting their prisoner have a drink would seem to contradict this. In the dark ages I think they did this to allow the scavengers to dine on the still living occupant of the cage though, and this could still happen even with the leather suit, but that would be a very dark turn for your well written story that I very much enjoyed.

Liked this story a lot....
Mainly because I leave near Buckingham and there is indeed an old Gaol museum in the centre of town..... unfortunately that's where reality stops and fiction kicks in as there is no upper story door or gibbet hanging point.
Looking forward to the continuations.
