Lauren in a revenge story, as usual.
It was a while ago now and my memory is sketchy, but I think I wrote three stories that Halloween, and the Gardener's Reunion was probably my favourite - a genre I'd always wanted to do - but this shows us something of Lauren and Marcus that isn't anywhere else, so I like it for that.
Just re-read through Trick Or Treat myself. These days I'd probably wind back on the adjectives a bit :)
All these old stories could do with a bit of a clean-up; there are minor defects that only show up after returning to them after a long time away. I've considered tidying them up and rolling them together into a (free) collected stories book. Don't suppose I'll ever have time though - there are new stories to write.
