Sorry to hear about the Server Gromet, but its better to loose the forum history than the story archive

Absolutely!!!
Its not great news but people are what drive forums like this... and this forum has MANY great contributors who will soon bring discussion and life back into this.

Mobile friendly - could you let me know which one? This one is Simple Machines, the other choice is MyBB

You've set Lobo a challenge now...

Is the bboard limited by the hosting?

There seems to be various boards that are good for mobile, and CMS's that have forum capability and can be set up to work nicely with mobile, but if you can't run them, that's no use :(

Amy - Yes the two used by Servage the hosting company.
I would love to use CMS but don't have the know how to set this up.

Fourscore and a bunch of years ago our moderator brought forth on this internet a new forum conceived in kink and dedicated to the proposition that all people are entitled to it. Now we are engaged in a great testing weather that forum, or any forum so conceived and dedicated, can long endure.

I say let this not be our Waterloo but our Gettysburg, to rebuild a forum based on community, and dedicated to honoring the great work that built this site and supporting the writers that will carry it into the future. Let our resolve ensure that this hard drive shale not have died in vain, and that kink of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the Plaza.
