Title: Help With a Word or Phrase
Post by: Eido on May 27, 2026, 03:32:46 PM
Hello again Forum Readers,

And hopefully responders. I'm looking for a clinical or legal word or phrase for involuntary sexual arousal.

I've web searched, and the best I can find is just that 'involuntary arousal' but I'm sure I've seen or heard a more legalistic or therapy-speak term.

By involuntary sexual arousal, I mean just that. The response of a man or woman to stimuli that indicates he or she is turned on, accepting, or willing to go further even though that is not the case, or the victim is at best of divided or confused mind.

If you've run across such an expression, please share.

Thanks,
Eido

Hi,

I think you might be looking for:

"Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS) or Genitopelvic Dysesthesia (GPD)"

Doctor Google goes into a detailed description of symptoms but I decided not to look !!
