Thank you so much for sharing this. It's such a fascinating take on the weight of being 'seen' all the time. Honestly, as women, I think we probably all have our own 'maidbot' moments, or at least a deep craving for them. For me, it's those hours spent mindlessly weeding the garden or doing the dishes until my hands are pruney and the kitchen is silent.

There's something deeply meditative about those repetitive physical tasks that your story captures perfectly. It's not really about the 'chores'; it's about that rare, beautiful chance to turn off the noisy, decision-making part of your brain and just... exist in the movement. Thanks Melissa, there's something to be said for the mundane chores, to lose yourself even for a moment, to switch off, maybe that's why they're sometimes referred to as 'mindless tasks', creating a sense of calm, and according to Google ai 'Repetitive tasks can allow your mind to enter a meditative or creative state.'
