Morning folks, this is a post for users who are having problems logging in to the forums. A spam account I recently had to ban was using a common IP address shared between a lot of users (presumably an ISP that reuses a small set of IP addresses for its customers). I removed the IP part of the ban last week, but I think that the users affected by the ban have now got a cookie saved in their browser that thinks they are banned.
You can verify if this is the case by logging in via an incognito / private browsing window, if that works, the problem is saved into your browser. The solution another affected forum user has successfully used is to clear cookies for our particular site (forum.grometsplaza.net or grometsplaza.net).
Apologies, the war against spambots occasionally has this sort of collateral damage.
