This was a clever story. I like the relaxed style of writing. It seemed to turn stereotypes on their heads - viewpoint, who found whom etc. The lady with the dog was certainly an intriguing character.
Thank you for your kind words, I thought it was a fun twist on the getting caught theme. I just don't get many opportunities to play solo in the woods these days, but when I do, or even back when I did a bit more regularly, a man walking a dog with a good nose and some curiosity were my greatest fears.
