I am in London England, and I wish you every success in your search for a partner. Everyone deserves to find true happiness, and I wish this for you also.

I hope to make my first visit to New York in April. Very scary, the Big Apple ! I have flown to Seattle and up to Fairbanks Alaska before. And no, I am not an Ice Road Trucker ! I travelled the Alaska Railroad and the White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, before returning via Canada. I have been to Canada several times from Vancouver and Prince Rupert to Halifax and Scheffervile. All in the pursuit of trains.

I hope to fly to Toronto so I can take the AMTRAK Maple Leaf to New York, and then spend several days there.

For a Brit, we find the fingerprinting and retinal scans of law abiding tourists rather over the top. I understand the need to security and to control borders, but it must deter people from visiting and spending their dollars there. But needs must, I suppose. One day I might visit Montana and Denver, as I like the mountains too.

For kinks, you only need to read my stories to get an idea what I dream about !

I am sure the Big Apple has different types of garbage trucks for me to sample, or perhaps the hotel's trash chute. Oooops, it has a compactor at the bottom.
