So asking for a friend, how does one get rid of handcuff marks? She didn't mention what kind of handcuffs she was using
The marks are abrasions caused by the narrow width of the cuff. One way you can reduce the marks is to use a British Darby type cuff with a wider contact area. Or use a buffer between skin and steel to reduce rubbing, like athletic tape. And follow the two-finger rule for fit: it's usually sufficient if you can slip two fingers between cuff and skin, no need to overtighten.
