I really enjoyed the first half of this story, playful, teasing, wicked, and wonderful characters showing true acceptance and deep wickedness
Seeing the friends rally round and bring such a surprising fantasy to life, so quickly, directly and effectively is really enjoyable
I like the whole going with it, the sense of friendly wickedness and pushing the boundaries that goes with it.
The second half, where we meet the researchers, I can see how this follows on, and is a logical extension of the story arc. Personally though it wasn't what I was looking for, since the mind control aspect took away so much of the wicked friends aspect that I enjoyed so much. Well written and fun though
