First off Bentbliss I must apologize for not replying earlier, I somehow missed your comments and failed to respond... I offer no excuses for this, but I will say that it's out of character for me; I think it's only fitting that if you should take the time to comment on something I've written, good or bad, I at the very least owe a proper response.
I so enjoy sharing these characters that I sometimes don't want the adventure to ever end, but I agree with you (and others) that there has to be an ending, some conclusion to the adventure. Maybe I could do this in such a way that I could come back to some of the characters in a different story line, kind of like the scarry droids from MY Butler James (the Sir unit my alter ego is "training" with is a related device by the way). Are they there to serve mankind, train mankind, or even replace mankind? What if these devices were assessing all of humanity for their trainability and value, deciding what kinds of humans and personality traits were to be kept, and which ones were to be discarded? We already know that they can be ruthless, and a few hundred thousand enslaved humans would be much easier to control than eight billion plus...
Perhaps fate, or even some concerned humans will intercede on my alter ego's behalf, preventing the ladies in the desert from realizing their dark plans? Maybe though the bad guys/girls win this time, and the ladies end up with a bunch of clothes, a vacation mansion, and a very obedient slave/maid/sex toy to do their bidding? What would Ray do if/when he finds out; after my alter ego's character and personality are wiped clean, assuming that's how it goes? Would he turn his second wife into the authorities, losing two wives; or would he devise some fitting punishment short of that so that he didn't have to be alone?
Then again, everybody involved might like this new alter ego me more than the old version, keeping and using the new one, maybe even Ray's guy friends behind his back. What if everybody was convinced that my alter ego had one hundred percent lost her old personality, when in reality she still had it, but was conditioned not to speak? Could a training device of some kind be used instead, one Sir introduces into the training schedule when certain goals aren't met? She would be forced to listen to everybody talk about her as if she wasn't there, or couldn't hear, it could be a very cruel ending to just leave it like that? Or, it could be a wonderful gift for the right person, submissively serving others, in all kinds of ways. When somebody else is in charge you're not responsible for what they or it "makes" you do, and for me that can be very liberating.
Anyway, just some ideas in my head as to where this thing is going, and thanks again for your kind words, Jackie.
